THE Spirit of Tasmania II is due to sail again on Sunday after its repairs were completed.
The passenger ferry was damaged on Wednesday when it broke free from its moorings in Melbourne in high winds and crashed into the dock.
"Our precious vessel has recovered well from the injuries she incurred and she is looking forward to setting sail again," the Spirit of Tasmania's Twitter account said on Saturday.
Tasmanian Infrastructure Minister Rene Hidding said the freak weather event was "very disruptive".
"However, TT Line staff, contractors and maritime crews did a fantastic job repairing the vessel, helping affected customers and managing freight disruptions," Mr Hidding said on Saturday night.
