WORLD Golf Tour (WGT), the number one online golf game, has launched on Golf Link.

From today, Golf Link members will be able to compete on virtual golf courses for free, challenge their friends, improve their play with access to virtual golf equipment and win prizes by entering exclusive tournaments and sweepstakes.

WGT features 18 famous virtual golf courses that are recreated using HD photography, including St Andrews, Valhalla, Pinehurst No. 2, The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Bethpage Black, Royal St. George’s Golf Club and Congressional Country Club, providing gamers with a real-life golfing experience.

World Golf Tour has grown to over seven million registered players, with over five million monthly visits and over 450 million virtual rounds played, making it the largest and most engaged online audience of golfers in the world.

Currently, the game can be played online with a web browser, on Facebook or via a mobile app available for iPhone or iPad.
